Through the sealing of the Holy Spirit we are given the spiritual strength to profess, live and witness to the Catholic faith. Academic preparation for this sacrament takes place during the freshman or sophomore year of SRE (Sunday Religious Education) classes. Spiritual formation will take place in the parish. Dates and times are published in the bulletin. Confirmation is administered to parishioners 15 years and older.

- Brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace:
- Roots us more deeply in the divine childhood which makes us cry, "Abba! Father!"

- Increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us;

- Gives us a special strength of the Holy Spirit to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ, to confess the name of Christ boldly, and never to be ashamed of the Cross
